Not surprisingly, this district serves the best seafood and the freshest fish to be found and, therefore, it boasts prestigious restaurants where the best products of the sea can be enjoyed.
It is ideal for families, but also for young people, as there are many places to have a drink and dance until the early hours.
It is close to the metro, with which it is easy to move around the city, although the city centre is close enough to be reached on foot whilst, thanks to its ideal location, the Olympic Village is close by, as are Barcelona's beautiful spacious beaches. This district also houses Barcelona Zoo and Ciudadella Park, which is a great place for picnicking, taking a boat ride or just enjoying its gardens.
